2018 Spring Wine Releases

Once a quar­ter, we release four new wines. The wines are first released to our Wine Club mem­bers at a dis­count­ed rate, and then to the gen­er­al pub­lic the fol­low­ing sea­son at the full price. Shar­ing our wines for the first time after the years of hard work and ded­i­ca­tion is excit­ing, and we hope you enjoy drink­ing them as much as we enjoyed craft­ing them!

We are hon­ored to announce our 2018 spring wine releases:

2017 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Grenache Blanc

Apple, tan­ger­ine, Mey­er lemon, and white pep­per aro­mas and fla­vors are expressed through­out the 2017 PMV Grenache Blanc vin­tage. Gen­er­ous tex­ture and juicy acid­i­ty cre­ate a beau­ti­ful dichoto­my that plays out across the palate and brings great bal­ance to this com­plex wine. Drink 2018 – 2025. 2016 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Grenache

Com­plex fla­vors and aro­mas of black rasp­ber­ry, plum, pome­gran­ate, cher­ry, brown sug­ar, baker’s spice, dried cran­ber­ry, and pep­per high­light the 2016 vin­tage. The wine reminds me of the great 2001, 2003, 2007 and 2013 PMV Grenache vin­tages and is in line to be among the finest we have ever pro­duced. Craft­ed with 90% Grenache and 10% Syrah. 2016 Barrel Select Cuvee

Ripe black­ber­ries, plum, game, spice and earth high­light the aro­mas of this Cuvee. Smooth, round, and gen­er­ous, the mouth is filled with fla­vors of fruit cake, pep­per, black­ber­ry, game, and earth that are com­plex with a long fin­ish, fine tan­nins, and bal­anced acid­i­ty. Craft­ed with 50% Mourve­dre, 29% Syrah, and 21% Grenache. Drink 2018 – 2040. Down­load Tech­ni­cal Wine­mak­ing Notes

2016 Purisima Mountain Vineyard Syrah

Dark choco­late, plum, black­ber­ry, vanil­la, black pep­per, grilled meats, and game are hall­marks of Purisi­ma Moun­tain Syrah and the 2016 is loaded with them! Big and pow­er­ful, yet ele­gant and com­plex, the 2016 is an incred­i­ble vin­tage of PMV Syrah. Drink 2018 – 2038. Down­load Tech­ni­cal Wine­mak­ing Notes
